This Eastern Era walkthrough follows the opening objectives the way a guide author played them: camp first, then food, research, farming, crafting, a dirt structure, the Dantian, a breakthrough and finally camp defences. It is a tutorial chain rather than a story, so the value of a walkthrough is knowing what each step quietly requires — usually a specific number of logs, stones or research papers — so you can gather before you build.
The opening objectives, in order
The sequence is short and gated by materials rather than skill. Scavenge trees, bushes and hay, build a shelter, and place two mats and two depots inside it. Build a bonfire for five log and five stone, cook stewed flatbread and feed a disciple. Build a research table for the same cost again, produce a research paper and unlock agronomy, then plant wheat and cotton fields next to camp.
| Objective | Resource requirement |
|---|---|
| Shelter | 2 mats and 2 depots |
| Bonfire | 5 log and 5 stone |
| Research table | 5 log and 5 stone |
| Crafting table | 20 log after researching carpenter |
| First dirt structure | 3 research papers, 5x5 foundation |
| Breakthrough room | 7x7 foundation with walls, doors, windows and roof |
| Camp defences | 30 research papers for crossbows and metallurgy |
Along the way you also build an entertainment rock from the relaxation tab, craft a lightwill spear for hunting, and draft a disciple to defend against the bandit attack that arrives partway through.

Dantian, breakthrough and the sect
The middle stretch shifts from survival to cultivation. Build an Arena so disciples can train, then change their schedules to cultivation hours so they actually use it. Once a disciple has accumulated enough training experience, you can awaken their Dantian. Shortly after, the game has you announce your sect, set its name, origin and leader, rearrange disciple roles in sect management, and handle a recruitment request that pops up automatically.
The final opening objectives are about holding what you built. Research crossbows through master outfit and combat arts I, research refined metallurgy, and build a refining furnace so you can smelt iron ingots for two crossbows. Iron is mined in the world, and jade brick is formed in a normal furnace.
From there the game opens outward. Community answers note that the world map unlocks through the Sect Management technology, after which you can reach cities, diplomacy and territory. Our beginner guide and cultivation guide pick up where this walkthrough stops.
What is prevailing at this time?
As of the V1.2 "Realms Unveiled" update, this opening sequence is still the prevailing route through the tutorial, and the update layered city exploration in Kaifeng and Secret Realms on top of it. Because the game patches frequently, treat the specific costs here as a baseline and watch the in-game tutorial prompts, which reflect the current build. For how the pieces fit together after the tutorial, continue with our guide.
FAQ
1.How does the Eastern Era walkthrough begin?
With a camp. You scavenge trees, bushes and hay, build a shelter, and place two mats and two depots inside. The game marks the materials you need during the first mission, so the opening is hard to get lost in.
2.What do I need for the first dirt structure?
Three research papers, produced at the research table. Research dirt structures in the tech menu, then lay a 5x5 dirt foundation, wall it on all sides, add a roof and put a door on one side.
3.How do I complete the breakthrough objective?
Build another dirt structure on a 7x7 foundation with walls, doors, windows and a roof, remove the roof, and switch the room into one of the four training grounds. Then open a disciple's combat tab and choose the breakthrough option.
4.How many research papers does the defence objective need?
Thirty. You spend them on master outfit and combat arts I to unlock crossbows, and on refined metallurgy so you can build a refining furnace and forge the iron ingots the crossbows need.
