Gladio Mori has two Discord servers, and they serve different purposes. The official one is run by the studio and is where hotfix announcements point and where compiled patch notes are posted. The second is a modding server, linked from Thunderstore, where people who build the game's code mods and tools coordinate. If you only join one, join the official server for patch news and use the Steam discussion boards for questions that need a searchable answer.

The official Gladio Mori Discord

The invitation the developer publishes is discord.gg/gladiomori, and it appears at the end of Steam hotfix announcements. The September 17, 2026 post for version 1.0.2.1 is one example: after listing the achievement and Pollaxe fixes, it ends with the Discord address and asks players to keep reporting issues. The April 2026 demo announcement goes further and says the full compiled patch notes can be found in the Discord community, which makes the server the deepest archive of change history.

That makes the server useful even if you never chat. Hotfix posts on Steam summarise the changes, while the server keeps the longer lists, and the community there is the fastest place to ask whether a specific bug has been reported since the last patch.

The modding Discord

The modding server is a separate community with a separate purpose. Thunderstore links it from the top of its Gladio Mori page as the Modding Discord, at discord.com/invite/jCEpx8SpGF, and the page's own wording frames it as the place for people uploading and maintaining packages. That is a different crowd from the general player base: modders, tool authors and people debugging BepInEx setups.

Community feedback on Steam

Not every community venue gets a warm write-up. A Steam discussion thread from September 2026 carries the title Don't join Discord and argues that the author's debate was moderated unfairly, describing a temporary timeout and what they call an ad hominem response from the other party. It is one player's account of a single incident, so it should be read as a single-source opinion rather than a verdict on the server.

The broader picture from the same discussion boards is more ordinary. Players trade moveset findings, ask about peer-to-peer hosting, report connection failures and request features such as lobby auto-restart and emotes. Those threads are worth reading before posting, partly because the answers already exist and partly because the developer account does reply in them, as the peer-to-peer explanation from October 2024 shows.

FAQ

1.Does Gladio Mori have an official Discord?

Yes. The developer posts an invite link in the Steam news feed, where hotfix announcements end with the address discord.gg/gladiomori. It is the studio's own server rather than a fan-run one, and it is where patch notes are cross-posted.

2.Is there a separate modding Discord?

Yes. Thunderstore links a Modding Discord from its Gladio Mori page, at discord.com/invite/jCEpx8SpGF. It is separate from the official server and is aimed at people building the code mods and tools hosted on Thunderstore.

3.What gets posted in the official Discord?

Patch notes, mainly. The Steam announcements for versions 1.0.2.1, 1.0.3.2 and 1.0.3.4 all describe fixes first and then point at the Discord for the community, and the April 2026 demo announcement notes that the full compiled patch notes live there.

4.Where else does the community gather?

The Steam discussion boards are the busiest public space, with threads on movesets, peer-to-peer hosting, connection problems and feature requests. A Reddit community for the game also appears in search results for mod and update topics.

5.Has the community raised complaints about the Discord?

Yes, at least once. A Steam discussion thread from September 2026 is titled Don't join Discord and argues that moderation of a debate was unfair. It is one player's account rather than a measured survey, so treat it as a single-source opinion.

6.Should I use Discord to report a bug?

The Steam news feed is the more reliable record for what has been fixed, because numbered hotfix notes are published there and are easy to search. Discord is faster for discussion, but bug reports there are not a documented support channel.
