The Sinking City 2 Characters — Safe Code

The Sinking City 2 has a brand new cast. Calvin Rafferty is the playable lead and Faye Bennett is his partner, and the two of them carry the story together rather than through documents alone. No characters return from the 2019 game, which is worth stating clearly because the older Fandom characters list is built around the first game's Oakmont residents.

Main characters

Calvin is an occult adventurer who stays in Arkham after the evacuation to recover Faye, relying on firearms, investigation notes and a willingness to enter places the remaining residents avoid. The character guide notes he is not Charles Reed, and reviews describe him as a more action-capable and more conversational protagonist, which fits the shift to survival horror.

Faye is his partner in both their relationship and their occult work. The failed ritual removes her from ordinary physical contact early on, but memories and supernatural communication keep her central to every decision Calvin makes. The mask she speaks through, the Night Shade, is also the upgrade menu where Talents are slotted.

Creatures and antagonists

The enemy list is drawn from Lovecraft's mythos and the game's own inventions. The Slither is a plague of parasitic worms that kill people and then puppeteer their corpses, which is why so many enemies look reanimated. The Slither Prime is the giant source of the plague and the final boss.

The supporting threats include Deep Ones emerging from the flooded fish market, a Shoggoth controlled by the Slither Prime, and the Mi-Go wearing Dr. Lowe's skin. The hospital also holds three large enemies the guides call Nightmares, and each one is tied to the Sterilizer trophy.

Voice cast and the safe code side cast

The IMDb cast list confirms the main roles and a handful of supporting ones, including Brandon Fague, Garrick Hagon, Jess Lambert, Kate Harper, Kerry Shale, Leader Looi, Nezar Alderazi and Adam Sims. The game was directed by Wael Amr and Alexander Gresko, with writing credited to Wael Amr, Aurélie Ludot and Nick Schaedel.

The safe code side investigations belong to minor characters rather than the main cast: the Apartment 5 safe, the hotel safe at 2137, the hospital storage lock at 1308 and the church watergate at 1672 all sit in side stories.
